Awards will be presented at the RYA Dinghy Show
Eleven promising sailors and windsurfers from across the UK have been revealed as winners of the RYA Regional Youth Champion Awards.
Sunday only and focus was on gybing. The wind built all day and after we had completed the exercises we went upwind for a blast back down.

Only 1 capsize during the morning season.
We learnt so much about bearing away in the gusts and easing the main and asymmetric as we bear away. timing and crew work/communication so important.
Erica Caswell from Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club nominated me and I was selected for RYA North East REGION Champion 2018.
This means I now have to go to the RYA dinghy show on the 3rd of March to pick up the award.
Beth started sailing the Tera in 2014 and entered the Regatta Fleet at the 2014 National Championships finishing a comfortable Last. Results and write up
